CORNEVIL : AUCKLAND
“13 CornEvil Phobia’s”
Phobia: An unreasonable sort of fear that can cause avoidance and panic.
It's normal to be afraid of things that can cause you harm, it's part of the survival instinct. CornEvil is not normal!
Triskaidekaphobia is the irrational fear of the number 13. Its origins are unclear, tracing back as far as ancient Persia, the Last Supper, and Viking mythology. Wherever it actually began, the fear of the number 13 has far-reaching tentacles, and with this year’s “13 CornEvil Phobia’s” Spookers will drop you kicking and screaming into at least one of yours.
Spookers designers work hard year round to ensure that CornEvil is psychologically scary; preying on common fears and creating an atmosphere of inescapable terror. This dedication to the psychology of fear sets Spookers apart from any other form of entertainment.
Whatever your superstition or dread, CornEvil 2012 is certain to rattle your nerves while introducing you to their favourite 13 phobia’s. Behind the high walls of the giant corn plants, and in the dark, reside post-apocalyptic zombies, undead clowns, disembodied spirits and creatures of the night of every guise, waiting just for you so they can unleash every weapon in their arsenal of fear. “Did someone mention chainsaws?”

"Me and a bunch of mates went to spookers last night and I just want to say how AMAZING Corn Evil was this time round! We got so disorientated and lost our way so many times. I can't remember the last time I did CornEvil but it was a year or so back and that seemed pretty straight forward but this time I really was quite frightened! It was really awesome! So many good actors too! The guy that was located on the bridge was by far the freakiest. Also the person that was in that potato sack sorta outfit and he was hanging up on the corn and then suddenly moved, the absolute best!
I always enjoy coming to spookers and definitely will be coming back in a few months time. It never gets old."
Kind Regards
Amelia
